"Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being of himself and of his family, including food, clothing, housing and medical care and necessary social services, and the right to security in the event of unemployment, sickness, disability, widowhood, old age or other lack of livelihood in circumstances beyond his control."                             

The Sainik Welfare Organization-India, social service organization  with the sole objective of serving two segments of central government uniformed personnel, the Serving and the Retired who shares the right to a decent standard of living together within the same community after retirement from active  service.

Living within proximity of available medical facilities and re-employment opportunities are essential for fulfillment of human life of a soldier beyond simple survival after retirement.

The mission  of the organization is to provide quality welfare social service to Defence and Paramilitary forces Personnel, both serving and retired, and their spouses or dependents on a no profit-no loss concept through planning on small real estate projects located in close proximity of existing medical facilities, educational centers and re-employment opportunities.  

Like minded officers and men are welcome to join the organization on voluntary basis and be a part of legacy being created.
